Gabriel-Wacker-VP-ExecuStayMidwestTransitions Group (TG) recently announced changes to its ExecuStay | Oakwood Midwest leadership and management teams. Beginning July 1, Gabriel Wacker will assume responsibilities as Vice President of Sales for Transitions Group.  Brad Burleson and Amy Schroeder will begin new roles as Regional Operations Managers for ExecuStay |Oakwood Midwest. With a combined experience of 39 years, the three will be responsible for continued success of the corporate housing business and optimizing sales for new growth.

“We’re excited about promoting Gabriel to Vice President of Sales,” said Barney Lehnherr, President. “Having been with us for 20 years, he understands the culture of the company and knows the industry, which means the learning curve will be greatly reduced.”

Wacker has served in various capacities during his tenure, most recently as North Region Operations Manager. As vice president, he will manage sales for ExecuStay | Oakwood Midwest and Furniture Options and will report directly to Lehnherr. While Wacker will continue to office in Kansas City, he will work with all the sales team members of each company and in all locations.

“Known as a person of integrity, Gabriel is highly motivated and is an effective leader,” continued Lehnherr. “We look forward to his strategizing and optimizing programs and leading a strong sales team to the successful attainment of increased revenue and long-term goals.”

Brad-Burleson-ExecuStay-MidwestBrad Burleson has been with TG for 11 years, serving as Operations Manager for Oklahoma City, Tulsa and Little Rock where he has continually provided solid results. As Central Region Operations Manager, he will have additional responsibility for the St. Louis Market. He has had a longtime appreciation for St. Louis, starting as a kid with the city’s rich history in baseball. As an adult, he has come to know St. Louis as one of the most important cities in the Midwest as home to a strong corporate base, biotechnology institutions and air defense companies.

“I’m most excited to branch out to another city. I’ve long been a fan of St. Louis. The city continues to evolve and shows no signs of slowing down. We’re excited to be part of this,” said Burleson. “We have a great team in place in St. Louis. I’m proud of their hard work in successfully expanding our footprint in the metro area,”

Burleson believes the continual training provided by Transitions Group, feedback received from customers and the close involvement with the Corporate Housing Providers Association (CHPA) help ExecuStay | Oakwood Midwest stay at the forefront of the industry as a leading provider of corporate housing.

“Our job is to not only make sure we provide a quality product to our guests, but to make sure they are happy and comfortable in their temporary home,” continues Burleson.

Amy-Schroeder-ExecuStay-Oakwood-MidwestAmy Schroeder has been a TG team member for eightyears, most recently Assistant Operations Manager for the North Region. She is now the North Region Operations Manager responsible for the Kansas City, Des Moines, Omaha and Wichita markets.

“I’m excited for this opportunity to lead an outstanding team. Every single day I see the core values of our company being put into practice,” said Schroeder. “I look forward to continuing the success Gabriel has created for the north region and finding new and creative ways to grow our markets.”

During her tenure with TG, she has proven to be a genuine leader and has acquired the skills necessary for her new role, but she also has a true appreciation for the company. When asked to provide a quote for the press release, Schroeder said, “I could probably write a full article about how much I love this place.”

Longevity and a strong sense of company culture continue to be keys to the company’s success. Lehnherr is proud of the fact the company has such a strong pool of talent to promote from within, “With their experience, they’ll be able to hit the ground running, while bringing fresh ideas and new approaches to their positions.”

Wacker already has some innovative ideas to help increase sales and will be traveling to all 10 markets, “I’m honored to work for this employee owned company and look forward to demonstrating how Transitions Group will continue to exceed our customer’s expectations.”
